Syntax

EXITWIN <exit option>

Description

This command lets you shut down Windows. The <exit option> may be:

SHUTDOWN

A normal shutdown. This is the default.

REBOOT

Shuts down Windows and reboots the system.

LOGOFF

Logs the user off the system.

POWEROFF

Turns off the computer (if supported by the system.)

FORCE

FORCESHUTDOWN

Forcibly shuts down Windows without allowing programs to display any messages (this could result in the loss of unsaved work.)

FORCEREBOOT

Forcibly shuts down Windows and reboots the system.

FORCELOGOFF

Forcibly logs the user off the system.

FORCEPOWEROFF

Forcibly turns off the computer (if supported by the system.)

OK

Unchanged.
